Foundations for Liturgical Leadership and Preaching
With great care, Lay Readers often take on responsibility for many aspects of liturgical preparation, preaching, and presiding. Yet, almost as often, they feel inadequately trained or equipped to do so. This year’s conference will address many of the questions Lay Readers raise about liturgical leadership and preaching. We will explore various principles and practicalities – the why, what, and how – concerning vital worship. Bring your BCP and BAS for what promises to be an inspiring, informative, insightful, and confidence-building event.
During the day, there will be two sessions on liturgy and two addressing preaching. In the evening we will enjoy a Q&A session with Jay before sharing together in a gospel jamboree. (Bring your voices and your musical instruments!)
