About this parish:
Located on the east cost of James Bay, the community is situated on the south shore of the Eastmain River. The territory has an approximate population of 900 people. St. Mark’s is served by Active Lay Readers as well as Wardens and Select Vestry members assist in the Parish. The Southern Coastal dialect of Cree is spoken by the vast majority in Eastmain along with English.
