About this parish:
Val d’Or is a city with 31, 123 people. Founded in 1923 for it’s mining, Val d’Or is French for “Valley of Gold”. The Golden Valley Parish survives largely with lay led services. The Regional Dean schedules visits of an ordained Anglican minister each month for sacramental purposes and some ministry has also been provided in the Cree language with combined Cree and English services.
