Announcement of the Election of 12th Bishop of Moosonee
Archbishop Anne Germond, Metropolitan of the Ecclesiastical Province of Ontario is pleased to announce that on Wednesday March 26th, 2025 clergy and lay delegates from the Diocese of Moosonee held an electoral synod at Holy Trinity Parish in Cochrane.
The Election of a Bishop
A Special Meeting of Diocesan Executive Council was held today, Friday, October 11th to set a date for a Synod to elect a full time resident diocesan bishop for Moosonee. This Synod will take place on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at St. Matthew’s Cathedral in Timmins.
